GET CERTIFIED IN K9 Wilderness First Aid
As a certified Instructor for Pet Emergency Education, I teach the engaging and informative must-attend class for any dog owner, avy dog handler, or SAR dog hander.
Pet Emergency Education courses are recognized internationally for their excellence and now we have developed a course for outdoor enthusiasts who bring their dogs along on their backcountry adventures.

Get certified, earn CMEs, and feel confident in your hands-on ability and knowledge to help your dog if something happens while out on an adventure.

Just outside our front doors in Telluride, we have access to explore everything from high alpine peaks, high angle snow fields and talus slopes to swift water, lakes, and high desert. Each of these environments offer rich experiences for us and our dogs, but also present unique challenges and risks. Our community loves to hike, ski, camp, SUP, bike and more with their pups.
Factoring in weather, season, wildlife.... are you prepared to help or save your dog if an emergency happens in the backcountry? You will be after taking this course taught by a canine professional, WFR FAWM candidate of the Wilderness Medical Society, San Miguel Co SAR volunteer, and outdoor enthusiast who never leaves the dogs behind.
Space in limited in each class. Click the link below to sign up.
