My Special Mare Idie

Above: Idie is a mare I got when I was 9 yo (and she was 9 yo!) and together we went from her being terrified of human touch and severe anxiety to competing successfully across the west in disciplines including trail, dressage, showmanship, western games, drill team, huntseat, and much more. She was also my Rodeo Queen mount for the Clark County Fair Assoc and we rode in the Portland Rose Parade in addition to dozens of other parades and grand entries for rodeos all across the west. She's now living out the dream retirement with me in her 30's!

Client Testimonial

-Heidi G. of Battle Ground, WA

"Sierra is a dependable and conscientious worker and person. She has a strong understanding of how to communicate with and care for horses. She is kind and intuitive when handling horses which makes her particularly adept. Sierra also will go the extra mile when someone (horse or human alike) needs extra assistance, even when unanticipated beforehand. I trust her implicitly, and it was difficult to choose only three attributes as she has them all."
